Media Baru dan Perubahan Perilaku
Abstract
Penulis melakukan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masalah yang mendasar di antaranya adalah: Bagaimana perkembangan media baru saat ini , apakah dampak media baru terhadap perubahan perilaku manusia saat ini dan bagaimana pemanfaatan media baru agar tidak salah digunakan. Adapun metode yang di gunakann adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sehingga dari penelitian ini peneliti menghasilkan Setiap individu pengguna media baru seharusnya memiliki kesadaran pribadi, bahwa apapun yang diunggah ke dalam media sosial selain dapat mempengaruhi citra diri sendiri, juga dapat mempengaruhi hubungan sosial dengan pihak lain. Keluasan informasi hendaklah dipilah dengan bijaksana, mana saja yang dapat digunakan dengan baik tanpa melanggar norma dan nilai-nilai yang berlaku dalam kehidupan sosial. Kebebasan dan mampu mengendalikan harus tetap berpegang pada prinsip-prinsip etika komunikasi yang baik. Dalam pemanfaatan media baru secara berkualitas, menyimpulkan beberapa hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam menghindari permasalahan yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya. Hal tersebut adalah proteksi informasi pribadi, etika dalam berkomunikasi,. Oleh karena itu harus digunakan secara bijak untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan
The author conducted this study aimed to see the underlying problems are: How is the development of new media today, what is the impact of new media on changing human behavior today and how the use of new media is not mistaken for use. The method used is a qualitative approach with interview, observation and documentation techniques. So from this research, the researchers produced that every individual new media user must have personal awareness, that whatever is uploaded to social media can affect one's own image, it can also affect social relationships with other parties. The extent of the appropriate information is wisely sorted, which ones can be used properly without proper norms and values in social life. Freedom of expression must adhere to good communication ethics and self-control. In the use of new media in a quality manner, concludes a number of things that can be done in order to avoid the problems previously described. These are protection of personal information, ethics in communication,. Therefore it must be used wisely to avoid things that are not desirable.
