PENINGKATAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL SISWA MELALUI MODEL MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION

Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar dan  perkembangan komunikasi interpersonal siswa.Penelitian merupakan  quasi eksperiment dengan desain two group pretest postest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 11 kelas XI. Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas dari populasi dengan teknik class random sampling. Hasil belajar kognitif  dianalisis dengan uji t untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tehadap hasil belajar,  perkembangan komunikasi interpersonal dianalisis dengan uji gain skor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI terhadap hasil belajar dan perkembangan komunikasi interpersonal siswa. Melalui model kooperatif tipe GI suasana belajar menjadi lebih efektif, hubungan kerjasama kelompok dalam pembelajaran  membangkitkan semangat siswa untuk memiliki keberanian dalam mengemukan pendapat, berkomunikasi dan berbagi informasi dengan teman lainnya dalam memecahkan masalah pembelajaran.
