ANALISIS PENDEKATAN RESEPSI SASTRA TERHADAP NOVEL “TENGGELAMNYA KAPAL VAN DER  WIJCK” KARYA BUYA HAMKA

This research aims to determine the acceptance of readers, namely students of Arabic Language and Literature

Class 2021-2023, Mandailing Natal State Islamic College, towards the intrinsic elements in the novel

Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck. The Study Program is based on Rachmat Djoko Pradopo's acceptance

theory. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection techniques used

were reading techniques and note-taking techniques obtained from research questionnaires. The data used in this

research is readers' reception of the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck. The results of this research are

readers' acceptance of the novel "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck". Based on data analysis obtained from

the results of other readers' acceptance of the intrinsic elements of the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck

which were produced after respondents answered seventeen questions on the questionnaire, several differences

were found in the answers of each respondent
