About the Journal
Al-Mu'tabar is published twice a year, in June and December, by the Department of ilmu Hadith, Faculty of Ushuluddin Humaniora and Dakwah, State Islamic of Institute Mandailing Natal Panyabungan North Sumatera Indonesia. The journal aims to encourage and promote the study of the Hadith from a wide range of scholarly perspectives. The topic covers all related issues in the study of the Hadith, including Linguistic, Literary, and Thematic Perspectives of the Hadith; Hadith Commentaries; The Hadith and Other Traditions; Methods and Approaches to the Hadith; The Societal Hadith; Translation of the Hadith; Historical of the Hadith and Living Hadith.
Current Issue
This edition has been available online since 30 June 2026. All articles in this issue (6 original research articles) with 112 pages were written by 19 authors from 9 universities and 3 countries (Indonesia Malaysia, And Germany).

Al-Mu'tabar is is a publication that publishes research results from lecturers, students, teachers, researchers and education practitioners. This journal publishes twice a year, in June and December. The focus of this journal's publication is Hadith Science, Hadith Understanding, Living Hadith, Takhrij Hadith, Hadith Education, Hadith Law.
Al-Mu’tabar Journal has proudly achieved a significant milestone by receiving Sinta 3 accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) of the Republic of Indonesia in 2026. This prestigious achievement was officially granted through Decree Number 862/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, with the accreditation valid until 2028.
