About the Journal

EDUVERSAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal dedicated to advancing theoretical, empirical, and practical studies in the field of Islamic Religious Education. The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, and educational policy makers to critically examine contemporary issues, transformations, and innovations in religious education. It is managed by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Mandailing Natal.

Focus

The journal focuses on high-quality and innovative research findings that address key challenges and developments in Islamic religious education amid diverse social, cultural, and political contexts. We prioritize manuscripts grounded in strong theoretical foundations, rigorous methodologies, and broad implications that extend beyond localized case studies.

Scope

  • Pedagogy, Curriculum, and Technology in Islamic Religious Education:

    Innovative learning methodologies, digital transformation, curriculum development, artificial intelligence (AI) integration, and learning evaluation across Islamic educational institutions (madrasahs, schools, higher education, and non-formal pathways).

  • Religious Moderation, Multiculturalism, and Social Cohesion in Islamic Religious Education:

    The role of Islamic religious education in promoting religious tolerance, peace education, prevention of extremism, citizenship, and inclusiveness in multicultural societies.

  • Psychology, Morality, and Character Education in Islamic Religious Education:

    Moral formation, character education, spiritual development, guidance and counseling, as well as student well-being within the perspective of Islamic Religious Education.

 

EDUVERSAL: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is published twice a year (Biannual), in March and September.

Each issue features a selected collection of original research articles and critical reviews that have undergone a rigorous double-blind peer review process.
