Author Guidelines

El-Jaudah: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab has the following author guidelines:

1. General Requirements

Authors submitting manuscripts to El-Jaudah: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab must ensure that their work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's aims and scope, including Arabic language education, Arabic linguistics, Arabic literature, semantics, lexicology, and contemporary issues in Arabic language learning.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in Arabic or English, according to the journal's applicable language policy. Articles should be clear, systematic, and scientifically rigorous. Research articles should generally include the following sections:

  1. Title

  2. Authors name, affiliation, affiliation address, and authors email

  3. Abstract in english language

  4. Keywords

  5. Introduction

  6. Research Method

  7. Results and Discussion

  8. Conclusion

  9. Supporting Statement

  10. References

The structure may be adjusted for conceptual or literature-review articles, provided that the manuscript maintains academic rigor.

3. Title, Abstract, and Keywords

The title must be concise, informative, and representative of the article's content. The abstract should summarize the research objectives, methods, principal findings, and conclusions. Authors must provide relevant keywords that reflect the main concepts and facilitate indexing and retrieval.

4. Citations and References

All sources must be cited accurately and consistently using the journal's prescribed citation style. Authors are encouraged to use reliable primary sources and recent scholarly publications relevant to the research topic. Every in-text citation must correspond to an entry in the reference list, and all references must be cited in the manuscript. The use of reference-management software is recommended.

5. Research Ethics and Plagiarism

Authors must adhere to established standards of research integrity and publication ethics. Plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening, with a maximum similarity index of 30%, subject to editorial assessment of the similarity report.

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards and obtain ethical approval or informed consent where required.

6. Authorship and Conflict of Interest

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research or manuscript, approved the final version, and accepted responsibility for its integrity. Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its publication.

7. Peer Review and Editorial Decisions

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, and compliance with the journal's requirements. Manuscripts that pass this stage are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by qualified reviewers. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.

8. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their published works. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Users may share and adapt the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given, changes are indicated, and adaptations are distributed under the same license.

9. Publication Schedule and Fees

The journal publishes two issues annually, in June and December. Authors should consult the journal's official website for information on article processing charges (APCs), if applicable. The journal does not provide honoraria, royalties, or other financial compensation to authors for published articles.

10. Submission Procedure

Authors must submit manuscripts through the journal's official online submission system and follow the submission instructions provided on the journal website. The submission must include all required information and files. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript complies with the journal's guidelines before submission.

11. Corrections and Retractions

Authors are expected to cooperate with the editorial team in correcting significant errors identified before or after publication. Articles may be corrected or retracted when necessary to preserve the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record, in accordance with publication ethics.
