Journal of Islamic Primary Education (JIPEDU) is an academic medium for communication among researchers, academicians, and practitioners that provides a platform for continuous discussion on current and relevant issues in the field of primary education, both in general and within the context of Islamic education. The journal emphasizes empirical and conceptual studies focusing on learning, instruction, development, and teaching practices—particularly at the elementary school level (including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah). JIPEDU welcomes original research articles that employ various theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches, as long as they contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge and practice in primary education with Islamic values integration. Manuscripts may cover diverse educational settings and age levels, and include studies conducted in classrooms, laboratories, or real-life field contexts. The main criterion in the review and selection process is the significance of the contribution to the fields of learning, instruction, and educational development in Islamic and general primary education.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
Instructional design and teaching strategies
Learning and teaching practices in primary education
Curriculum development, especially with Islamic integration
Learning environments that foster cognitive, affective, and spiritual development
Teacher education and professional development in Islamic and general settings
Use of educational technology in primary learning
Educational development and innovations
School management and leadership in Islamic and public primary schools
Educational policy and regulation affecting primary education
