JIPEDU started as a scientific publication media in the field of primary education in 2021. According to the official journal archives, the first recorded edition was Volume 1 Number 1 of 2021, which was published on January 8, 2021. This inaugural edition featured various studies related to primary education, including research on using Discovery Learning to improve problem-solving skills of MI/SD students, the application of Problem Based Learning in math education, the role of parents in child education, science learning, and the application of need theory in learning. The presence of these articles shows that from the beginning, JIPEDU has been aimed at being a platform for publishing research and studies related to learning issues and the development of education at the primary level.
