The journal recognizes the importance of digital archiving in maintaining the scholarly record and ensuring that published articles remain accessible to researchers, academics, students, and the wider community.

Digital Preservation

These measures are intended to minimize the risk of data loss and maintain access to scholarly content in the event of technical failures or other disruptions.

Online Accessibility

All published articles are made available through the journal's official website. The editorial team seeks to maintain the availability of article full texts, abstracts, metadata, and publication information for long-term scholarly use.

Repository and Third-Party Archiving

Authors are permitted to deposit and preserve their published articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal academic websites, subject to the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

The journal encourages the responsible dissemination and preservation of published research through recognized digital repositories and archiving services, where applicable.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

The journal intends to use the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), where eligible and technically supported, to support the long-term digital preservation of its published content. This service is designed to help preserve scholarly journal content published through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Participation in PKP PN will depend on the journal's technical configuration, eligibility, and successful activation of the preservation service.

Backup and Recovery

The journal seeks to maintain appropriate backup procedures for its digital publications and associated editorial records. Backup and recovery measures are intended to support the restoration of content in the event of accidental deletion, system failure, or other technical problems.

Access in the Event of Website Discontinuation

If the journal's website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable, the editorial team will make reasonable efforts to restore access to published articles or provide access through available archival and repository services.

Editorial Responsibility

The editor-in-chief and editorial team are responsible for overseeing the implementation and periodic review of the journal's archiving practices. The journal aims to improve its digital preservation arrangements in accordance with recognized scholarly publishing practices and available technical resources.

Through this policy, Journal of Religious, Social and Cultural seeks to protect the integrity of the scholarly record and support the long-term preservation and dissemination of academic research.
