Peer Review Process

JEEL Paper Review Process (Double-Blind Peer Review)

JEEL employs a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to ensure an objective, unbiased evaluation. The review process is completed within 3–5 days, and the manuscript status will be communicated as: Accepted / Minor Changes Required / Major Changes Required / Rejected.

Step 1: (Authors)

Authors register and submit their manuscript (article) to JEEL.

Step 2: (Editor-in-Chief)

The Editor-in-Chief removes author identity details to ensure anonymity and forwards the manuscript to appropriate specialist reviewers based on the subject area.

Step 3: (Reviewers)

The reviewing board evaluates the manuscript without knowing the author’s identity. The paper is assessed for quality, originality, and relevance, and for plagiarism. The reviewers then provide one of the following decisions:

  • Accepted
  • Minor Changes Required
  • Major Changes Required
  • Rejected

Step 4: (Authors)

Authors revise the manuscript (if required) based on reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version. Authors also send a scanned copy of the copyright form (downloadable from the website) to the editor via email.

Step 5: (Editor-in-Chief)

The Editor-in-Chief reviews the final submission and sends a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to the authors via email.

Step 6: (Publisher)

The publisher publishes the accepted paper in the upcoming issue and informs the author accordingly.

Additional Information

All manuscripts undergo a rapid double-blind peer review. Only high-quality papers (not previously published and not under consideration elsewhere) will be accepted and published without unnecessary delay.
