Enhanced Manuscript Selection Standards and Publication Policy of JEANS
2026-08-10
Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers of the Journal of Education and Applied Natural Sciences (JEANS),
As part of our continuous commitment to improving the quality, reputation, and scholarly impact of the Journal of Education and Applied Natural Sciences (JEANS), the Editorial Team will implement more rigorous editorial and manuscript selection standards.
Starting from the upcoming publication issues, JEANS will prioritize the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of every manuscript submitted for publication.
In line with this policy, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a more rigorous selection process, with particular attention to:
- Relevance to the Focus and Scope of JEANS;
- Clarity of the research gap and novelty of the study;
- Quality and appropriateness of the research methodology;
- Depth and quality of the analysis and discussion;
- Scientific contribution and significance of the findings;
- Quality, relevance, and currency of the references; and
- Compliance with JEANS Author Guidelines and publication ethics.
This policy reflects JEANS's commitment to prioritizing publication quality over quantity, strengthening the academic standards of published articles, and enhancing the journal's scholarly reputation and impact at both national and international levels.
Under this policy, manuscripts that meet the basic administrative requirements are not automatically guaranteed to proceed to the peer-review stage. The Editorial Team may reject manuscripts during the initial editorial screening (desk evaluation) if they do not sufficiently meet the journal's standards regarding quality, novelty, scientific contribution, methodological rigor, relevance, and compliance with the Focus and Scope of JEANS.
Prospective authors are therefore strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts carefully and ensure that their submissions demonstrate a clearly defined research gap, strong novelty, rigorous methodology, comprehensive analysis and discussion, and a significant contribution to the fields of education and applied natural sciences.
Through this policy, JEANS aims to continuously improve the quality of its publications and provide a reputable academic platform for researchers, lecturers, teachers, students, and other scholars to disseminate high-quality research.
We sincerely appreciate the continued trust and support of our authors, reviewers, editors, and readers in our collective efforts to continuously improve the quality and scholarly impact of the Journal of Education and Applied Natural Sciences (JEANS).
Editorial Team
Journal of Education and Applied Natural Sciences (JEANS)
