Abstract

Abstract: Poetry in the Arabic tradition has a standard called as bahr, bahr is wazan as a measuring tool in poetry making. This tradition continued until the 19th century, then changes in this tradition began to change after the entry of western nations into the Arab region. One that influenced the direction of the poetry of the direction was the flow of romanticism that developed in the West, where poetry emphasized the emotional or feeling aspect rather than the physical form of poetry, so that changes in the physical form of poetry also underwent changes. This research will reveal how the form of the influence of romanticism on Arabic poetry uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the phenomena that occur by collecting data from various references related to this research.
