PUBLICATION POLICY
El-AHLI : Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam provides open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports global knowledge exchange. This journal provides direct open access to all content on its website with the principle of making research results available at no cost to the public and anyone who needs them, whether for reading or downloading articles. The journal management will continue to strive continuously to collaborate with the journal's author community in selecting the best open access licence options. Articles that are accepted will be available and freely downloadable on the El-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam website.
PLAGIARISM POLICY
The Editorial Board of EL-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) if plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication in EL-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam
Definition
Plagiarism is the act of intentionally or unintentionally obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or value for a scientific work by quoting part or all of another party's work and/or scientific work, which is recognised as their own scientific work, without properly and adequately citing the source.
Therefore, articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Material taken verbatim from other sources must be clearly identified to distinguish it from the original text.
If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve actions based on the level of plagiarism detected, following these guidelines:
Level of Plagiarism
- Copying short sentences from another article without citing the source.
- Action: The author is given a warning and requested to revise the text and properly cite the source.
- Copying most of another article without proper citations and without acknowledging the source.
- Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in EL-AHLI : Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam, and the author may be sanctioned with a ban on publication in EL-AHLI Journal: Journal of Islamic Family Law.
All authors of the article are responsible for the content of the submitted article because when filling out the submission form, there are terms and conditions that must be checked, and it is assumed that all authors are aware of and comply with the policies of EL-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam. If the article is found to be plagiarised, all authors will be subject to the same action.
If an author is found to have submitted a manuscript to EL-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam while simultaneously submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is discovered during the review process or after publication, the author will be subject to the actions outlined in point 2 above.
If plagiarism is found outside the rules above, the editor of EL-AHLI: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam has the right to impose sanctions in accordance with the editorial team's policy.
The similarity policy with other references in this journal is determined using Turnitin software.
