FOCUS AND SCOPE
The focus of this journal emphasizes studies on Islamic Family Law and Islamic Law in Muslim-majority countries in general, and Indonesia in particular, with a special emphasis on theories of Islamic Family Law and Islamic Law as well as their practical application in the Muslim world, presented through the publication of scholarly articles and book reviews.
The journal examines research in the field of Islamic legal thought and Islamic family law, both literature-based studies and field research. Its scope covers studies in Islamic thought and Islamic legal thought related to family, human rights, marriage, divorce, inheritance, wills, grants, endowments (waqf), almsgiving (zakat), and charity (ṣadaqah).
This journal specializes in the study of theory and practice of Islamic Family Law and Islamic Law in Muslim-majority countries and aims to present original research and current issues.
