The modern world, especially through social media, has changed significantly due to advancements in information technology. By analyzing several case studies, this article discusses the role of social media in politics. These studies illustrate the political power that can be harnessed by these platforms. This study explores how political actors use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to mobilize supporters, influence public opinion, and create political agendas. The case studies examined include political campaigns, social movements, and protests led by social media. The focus of the research is on how it impacts election outcomes, how it influences government policies, and how social polarization and the spread of false information emerge. This study shows that social media not only functions as a communication tool but also as a political force that can influence democracy in both positive and negative ways. This provides an understanding of how social media can influence current politics and the moral challenges that stakeholders must face.
