
El-Ahli Journal is an Islamic Family Law Journal published by the Islamic Family Law Study Program of the Mandailing Natal State Islamic College. This journal is published regularly twice a year, namely in July and December. The focus of this journal examines research in the field of Islamic Law and Islamic Family Law, both literacy research and field research. The scope of this journal's studies is in the field of Islamic thought and Islamic legal thought relating to family, human rights, marriage, divorce, inheritance, wills, grants, endowments, zakat and shodaqoh.

El-Ahli: Journal of Islamic Family Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Islamic Family Law Study Program, State Islamic College (STAIN) Mandailing Natal, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse in the field of Islamic law, with a particular emphasis on Islamic family law. Its scope encompasses, but is not limited to, studies on marriage, divorce, inheritance, wills, gifts (hibah), endowments (waqf), almsgiving (zakat), charity (shadaqah), as well as contemporary issues pertinent to Muslim families.
Since its establishment, El-Ahli has been committed to serving as a reputable platform for the dissemination of high-quality research by academics, researchers, and practitioners with an interest in Islamic family law. The journal is published biannually, in July and December, and accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English. By adhering to a rigorous peer-review process and established principles of publication ethics, El-Ahli ensures the quality, originality, and relevance of the research it publishes.
To promote broad accessibility and the dissemination of knowledge, El-Ahli is registered with ISSN 2722-2241 (print) and ISSN 2722-225X (online), and all publications are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. As recognition of its quality, El-Ahli: Journal of Islamic Family Law has achieved national accreditation at SINTA Level 5, based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 177/E/KPT/2024. This achievement affirms El-Ahli’s commitment to continually improving the quality of scientific publications in the field of Islamic family law in Indonesia.
