Pembelajaran matematika sering dianggap abstrak dan kurang bermakna. Oleh karena itu, minat belajar dan prestasi siswa cenderung rendah. Undang-Undang No. 20/2003 menekankan pentingnya membentuk peserta didik yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dapat menyatukan kedua aspek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model pembelajaran matematika berbasis RME yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif-deskriptif, menggabungkan studi literatur dan refleksi praktis. Hasil penelitian berupa model konseptual yang mengaitkan setiap tahapan RME dengan nilai-nilai Islami. Kesimpulannya, konteks Islami membuat matematika lebih “hidup” dan bermakna; guru perlu menyiapkan bahan ajar RME yang mengandung nilai-nilai Islam secara eksplisit.
