The Jurnal Tarbiyah Islamiyah Lil Athfaal (TILA) is an academic journal published under the auspices of STAIN Mandailing Natal. TILA welcomes submission of previously unpublished research articles on Islamic Education for Early Childhood. It serves as an academic platform aimed at advancing knowledge, research, and practical applications in the field of Islamic education, particularly for young children. This journal seeks to disseminate ideas, theoretical studies, and empirical research related to value-based Islamic education as applied in early childhood learning.

Scope and Focusing on areas of signi?cance to all those concerned early childhood education include; development of moral and religious values, physical motor development, emotional social development, cognitive development, language development, artistic and creative development, parenting, Islamic parenting, management institution of early childhood, early child development assessment, child development psychology, child empowerment, learning strategy, Educational tool play, instructional media, innovation in early childhood education and various fields related to Early Childhood Education.

The journal is devoted to the scientific studies exhibiting solid research methodology and presenting findings with pedagogically significant implications. Although the articles are published in Indonesia and English, we also invite any articles concerning the teaching and learning of languages other than English. Abstract

Instilling religious values in early childhood is an important foundation for developing Islamic character. One effective approach is through the practice of prayer. This study aims to describe the application of the practice of prayer in the daily activities of early childhood and its impact on the development of children's religiosity. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques with Kindergarten B students at BA Aisyiyah Paseban II. The results indicate that consistent practice of prayer, such as congregational Dhuha prayer and prayer before studying, can foster spiritual awareness, love for God, and discipline in children. This method also reinforces Islamic values in a natural and enjoyable way. Thus, the practice of prayer is an effective strategy for developing children's religiosity from an early age.
