Article Processing Charge

 

Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the publication process and maintain the high quality of editorial and publishing services. The APC helps cover the various costs associated with processing an article after it has been accepted for publication.

Purpose of APC

The APC is used to support the following processes:

  • Rigorous double-blind peer review.
  • Manuscript editing and article design.
  • Publication of articles in downloadable PDF format.
  • Archiving and maintenance of articles in online repositories.
  • Providing open access to articles for readers worldwide.

APC Fee

To support the sustainability of the journal’s publication, Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000. This fee is required after the article has been accepted for publication and must be paid before the article is officially published on the journal’s site.

Payment of APC

The APC payment can be made through the payment methods provided by our system. Payment can be processed via bank transfer or other available methods on the journal’s platform. Authors will receive further payment instructions once their article is accepted and approved for publication.

APC Discounts and Waivers

Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam understands that the APC may be a financial burden for some authors, especially those from countries with limited resources. Therefore, the journal offers discounts or waivers for APC in specific cases, which will be assessed based on a request submitted by the author. Authors wishing to apply for an APC reduction or waiver should contact the editorial team before the article is submitted for peer review.

Payment Process

Once the article is accepted for publication, the author will receive an official invoice from Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam, listing the total APC fee that needs to be paid. Payment should be completed within 5 days after receiving the invoice. Articles will not be published until the APC payment has been received and confirmed by the editorial team.

Refund Policy

The APC fee paid is non-refundable, except in certain situations where the article is withdrawn or canceled by the editorial team before official publication. In such cases, the author may request a refund based on the applicable policy.

Transparency of Fees

Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is committed to maintaining transparency regarding the costs associated with publication. All fees related to article processing will be clearly communicated to the author before the article is submitted for peer review.

Payment for Reviewers or Editors

Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam does not provide payment for reviewers or editors involved in the peer review or editorial process. All contributions from reviewers and editors are made voluntarily to ensure the scholarly quality of the journal.
