The Effect of Discovery Learning and Numbered Heads Together Models on Students' Learning Outcomes

This research aims to examine the influence of the of discovery learning and numbered heads together learning models on student learning outcomes in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education in class XI at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The type of research used was quasi-experimental (Quasi-experimental) with a Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study was all students in class Experimental class I uses the discovery learning model, experimental class II uses the numbered heads together model and the control class uses conventional learning. Learning outcome data was obtained through test instruments and analyzed using the t test. The research results showed that the average post-test score for experimental class I was 85.88, experimental class II 80.47, and control class 74.47. Hypothesis testing with the t test shows that the learning outcomes of students who use the discovery learning model and numbered heads together are significantly higher compared to the control class. Apart from that, there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students who use the discovery learning model and numbered heads together learning model
