AUTHORSHIP CRITERIA

Every person listed as an author of a manuscript submitted to EL-AHLI : Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Has made a substantial intellectual contribution to the conception or design of the study, the collection of data, or the analysis and interpretation of data.
  2. Has taken part in drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
  3. Has approved the final version of the submitted manuscript and agrees to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

Additional provisions:

  • The order of authors must be agreed by all authors before submission. The first author is the lead author, and one author is designated the corresponding author, who represents the team in all communication with the editors.
  • Those who provided only technical support, funding, facilities, or administrative assistance are not listed as authors but are named in the acknowledgements.
  • Honorary or gift authorship, ghost authorship, and listing a person who made no contribution are violations of publication ethics.
  • Each author must provide their full name, institutional affiliation, email address, and, where available, ORCID iD.
  • Authors warrant that the manuscript is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration by another journal. The manuscript must be free from plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data.
  • Any use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in preparing the manuscript must be disclosed transparently. AI tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot take responsibility for the work.
  • Changes to the authorship list (adding, removing, or reordering authors) after submission require the written consent of all authors and the approval of the Editorial Board.
  • Violations of these criteria are handled under the journal’s publication ethics policy and may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
