  2. Library research articles. Normative or conceptual studies based on literature, including fiqh studies, analyses of statutory regulations, and analyses of court decisions.
  3. Literature review articles. Systematic reviews of previous research on a topic in Islamic family law, presenting the state of the field, research gaps, and directions for future study.
  4. Conceptual or theoretical articles. Original ideas on Islamic legal thought relating to family, human rights, marriage, divorce, inheritance, wills (waṣiyyah), gifts (hibah), endowments (waqf), almsgiving (zakāt), and charity (ṣadaqah).

The journal does not accept technical reports, undeveloped conference papers, summaries of undergraduate or graduate theses without further development, or popular opinion pieces.
