Article Processing Charge

Qaulan: Jurnal Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam applies a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) policy to support the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, copyediting, layout, online publication, digital preservation, and maintenance of the journal platform. The journal's APC policy is clearly disclosed to authors, in accordance with principles of transparency in scholarly publishing.

1. INDONESIAN AUTHORS

For authors affiliated with institutions in Indonesia, the Article Processing Charge is:

IDR 300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Indonesian Rupiah) per accepted article.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has received an official acceptance decision.

There is no submission fee. Manuscripts that are rejected during editorial screening or peer review are not charged an APC.

2. INTERNATIONAL AUTHORS

For authors affiliated with institutions outside Indonesia, Qaulan provides a 100% APC waiver.

APC: FREE / USD 0

International authors are therefore not required to pay an Article Processing Charge for accepted articles.

3. IMPORTANT POLICY

Payment of an APC does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or manuscript acceptance. Editorial decisions are based solely on the academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and scholarly contribution of the manuscript. This separation between editorial decisions and fee processing is consistent with publication-ethics recommendations for transparent author-fee policies.
