Archiving Policy

Uqubah: Journal of Islamic Law is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published content. The journal maintains digital preservation practices to safeguard published articles against potential data loss and to ensure continued access to scholarly works.

The journal utilizes the following digital preservation systems:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network to preserve published content through a secure digital archiving system developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).
  • LOCKSS/CLOCKSS: The journal supports digital preservation through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archiving systems, which provide distributed and secure preservation of scholarly content.

Through these preservation mechanisms, Uqubah: Journal of Islamic Law ensures that published articles remain permanently accessible and protected for future generations of researchers, scholars, and readers.
