Authors who publish in Uqubah: Journal of Islamic Law retain the copyright of their work without restriction.

By submitting and publishing an article in this journal, the author(s) grant Uqubah: Journal of Islamic Law a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, preserve, and identify itself as the original publisher of the work. This license enables the journal to disseminate the published article in print, electronic, indexing, and archiving systems.

All articles published in Uqubah: Journal of Islamic Law are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Under the terms of this license, anyone is free to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
