TRADISI MARKOBAR DALAM PERNIKAHAN ADAT MANDAILING DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM

Abstrak

Dalam konteks budaya Mandailing, Markobar dapat diartikan sebagai pembicaraan resmi yang dilaksanakan dalam upacara adat Mandailing; baik dalam acara siriaon (pesta dalam suasana gembira) maupun silulutun (pesta dalam suasana duka cita). Sebagai norma yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun, markobar memiliki tatacara yang sudah merupakan konvensi bersama masyarakat Mandailing. Pada praktiknya, meskipun terdapat beberapa variasi dalam proses penuturan dan isi yang dituturkan. Namun, warisan budaya, yang dianggap sebagai salah satu budaya yang sakral ini masih dilaksanakan dalam upacara adat masyarakat Mandailing. Penelitian ini akan mengungkap keterkaitan antara pandangan adat budaya Mandailing tentang markobar dalam perspektif Hukum Islam dengan pendekatan fisiologi Hukum Islam berupa pendeketan teori al’urf pada daerah tempat penelitian.
